Adam McGill
Co-Founder
Adam McGill is a founding partner at Strange Genetics. A former professional musician who spent years touring and making albums as an artist for Chop Shop and Atlantic Records. Around 2010 Adam began transforming his passion for cannabis into an actual career. He started off in a dank Kansas City basement back in the days when it was not exactly safe to be found with cannabis plants.
Since those early days in an undisclosed basement his passion for cannabis continued to flourish and he continued to perfect his craft. Over the past decade since his decision to commit himself fully to the cannabis plant he has bred and collected dozens of premium cannabis cultivars some of which are highly valued breeder selections that commercial grow facilities regularly pay 10k to 15k a piece to acquire. Some examples of these highly desirable “clone only” varieties are RS-11, Florida Kush, LA Baker, Black Ice, a cut of Alaska that was acquired from Tikun Olam in Israel, and a Dutch Passion breeder cut of the strain Euphoria that came all the way from Amsterdam.
Since 2020, with assistance from a community of several other professional growers who shall remain anonymous and his business partner, fellow cannabis grower Jeff Mair, Adam has created several new strains and found quite a few of his own “breeder cuts” that are destined to be highly sought after and soon to be household names in every stoner and personal grower’s home.
